Basic eye makeup is all about going for the right neutral shades to match your tone. As a beginner, you can first opt for an eyeshadow quad to instantly give you the best combination to work with.
Step 1: To work with these colors properly, start with a base color that’s close to your skin tone and apply it all over the lids.
Step 2: Then apply the medium shade to the outer corner of your eyes and blend it inwards to add depth to your eyes.
Step 3: You can also use the darkest shade in the quad as an eyeliner by using a wet brush to apply it.
Step 4: Lastly, pick the shimmery shade as a highlighter for your inner corners and just gently dab it over using your finger.
If you’re not fond of eyeliners, you can just do our dark eyeshadow tip on step #3. Line your eyes as close to the upper lashes as possible, from the inner corner to the outer corner.
To seal the deal, you should also make your eyelashes stand out by applying mascara! For added effect, you can heat the curler under a blow dryer for a couple of seconds. Place the wand of your mascara brush at the bottom of lashes, and wiggle it back and forth while running it upwards apply it to your bottom lashes as well for even coating.
